Troop Information

Troop 332 was started in 1997 by Talbot Berry and has been going strong for over a decade. It started with a boys and leaders who wanted to set up a new troop and has grown to roughly 45 scouts i This boy-led troop empowers boys to be leaders by allowing them to develop a troop program and then take responsibility for figuring out how to achieve their goals. They accomplish this by electing a senior patrol leader and then organizing into groups of patrols under the guidance of the scoutmaster. The troop schedules one or two events each month consisting of campouts, community service projects, and activities such as swimming, doge ball, plus much more. The troop meets  every Monday year round and holds at least 3 Courts of Honors per year.

The troop uses this time to teach younger scouts skills needed for the rank of Tenderfoot, to provide scouts with the opportunity to complete merit badge programs in a variety of catagories, and to challenge older scouts with high adventure outing such as Moutain Biking, Canoeing, Climbing, Whitewater Rafting, Skiing and more.

BSA National Social Media Guidelines

Posted on Mar 2 2012 - 12:27pm

Below and in the links section are the current national guidelines for the use of social media, including the use of Facebook.  Please acquante yourselves with the issues involved.  The prime concern from BSA is the publishing of scouting related information/events with the members being identified, especially without parental permission and the possibility of child preditation.  As a result, the use of social media is discouraged.  We have the ability to post all photos from our events to this site and it is fully within the guidelines.  IF you are or have posted to existing social media sites, please consider removing any links or identifiers to BSA and feel free to post them here.  Thanks!
